Fasig-Tipton Saratoga released its 2015 select yearling catalog June 24 and the sale features 209 yearlings, an increase of 27% from last year’s sale. The 95th edition of the sale will take place Aug. 10-11, in the Humphrey S. Finney Pavilion in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. Sessions will begin each evening at 7 p.m.

The catalog may now be viewed online at Fasigtipton.com. Print catalogs will be available from all Fasig-Tipton offices by July 6.

“Coming off a vibrant sale in 2014, as well as another strong class of sale graduates, our consignors have responded by supporting this year’s sale with increased numbers and quality,” said Fasig-Tipton president Boyd Browning. “Prospective buyers will find an outstanding group of yearlings presented to them when they arrive this year at Saratoga.”

In data recently released by BloodHorse MarketWatch, the Saratoga sale again ranks at the top of all major U.S. yearling sale by percentage of grade I winners, graded stakes winners, and stakes winners produced from horses sold.

Last year’s sale saw 114 of 141 yearlings sell over two evening sessions for $33,284,000, with an average of $291,965 and median of $237,500.

“It has been another electric year thus far for Saratoga graduates, capped by American Pharoah’s historic run to become racing’s first Triple Crown winner in 37 years,” Browning said. “And with current stars like Constitution, Stellar Wind, Tepin, Tonalist, and Rock Fall, Saratoga is a sale that no major buyer can afford to miss.”
